Export functionality won't show up

Postby uccellini on Tue Dec 09, 2008 2:32 am

Hi all,
I did install the iSpend app and it seems to be working for the most part. However, despite configuring the options for the app so that it would be able to export the expense logs and/or send them to google docs I cannot find these functions within the app despite restarting the phone etc. Can anyone help? If I cannot get the data out, there is no point in recording them in the app in the first place...Cheers C

To get to the options for an expense log, go to the expense logs page, tap "Edit" in the upper right corner,
then tap the blue arrow button next to the expense log whose options you want to edit.

I am considering purchasing this app, but am not clear on how to develop an expense report suitable for submission to an employer, or what the report would look like. I have been very pleased with ExpensePlus on the Treo, which includes expense report templates, but have switched to an iPhone. Could someone (or the developer) show me what sort of expense report might be generated?

Here is an example report, as published to google docs:

And here is the same data exported to Google Spreadsheet, which is basically the same as the CSV data you could export via email.
